From our base in Montréal, Val-d’Or and Timmins, we service 16 destinations towards the Cree communities in Northern Québec and Ontario with regular flights, freight services and chartered flights. To complement our team based at the Timmins Airport, Ontario, we are actively looking for a:
FIRST OFFICER DASH-8 (YTS-FOP-046 / YTS-OPS-047 / YTYS-OPS-048)
(3 full-time positions, 40 hours/week)
YOUR ROLE
As a Dash-8 First Officer, you will assist in the pre-flight, inflight and post flight duties in the operation of our Dash 8 aircraft. You will be responsible for operating the aircraft in accordance with company standard procedures and policies in various dynamic environments in Quebec and Ontario. You will maneuver the Dash 8 aircraft, in a safe manner into northern airports that have gravel surfaced runways, in various weather conditions. You will also work to maintain the company’s image by carrying out duties in a professional manner with customers and fellow employees. You will regularly participate in training programs to attain and maintain a high degree of competency to enhance and develop your skills as a pilot.
DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE?
•Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with IATRA or ATPL written exam)
•1000 total flight hours
•Experience in multi-engine aircraft and IFR flight.
•Bilingual, you have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of the Cree language is an advantage.
•You are motivated, enthusiastic, professional and participate positively in team spirit.
•You have a very good ability to manage your priorities in a complex environment.
