Position: IT Systems Technician
Reporting to: Director, IT
Location: Calgary, Alberta

The Big Picture:
As an IT Systems Technician, you will play a part in developing, recommending, and implementing IT strategy and solutions across the organization. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations including effective management of computer hardware and software systems, resolving technical issues with accounts, company software and infrastructure.
In this role you will:
- Provide technical support and assistance to AirSprint employees, troubleshooting and resolving connectivity, workstation, application and communication issues at varying levels of complexity.
- Design, install, test, document and maintain local area network systems, personal computer and software systems.
- Install and maintain communication systems between AirSprint computer and network systems.
- Support critical security technologies and processes such as data loss prevention, threat identification and remediation, access certification, privileged access management, etc.
- Support, maintain and administer third-party applications
- Configure Salesforce, including custom objects and fields, page layouts, reports, dashboard, profiles, rules, triggers, workflows and approval processes.
- Leverage IT best practices, presenting new technology and system solutions to support end-users and enable IT strategy.
- Monitor incident trends and anticipate IT maintenance and repairs.
- Liaise with internal teams to prepare and onboard new hires including anticipating user access needs, acquiring, and installing IT equipment, setting up IT systems, etc.
- Assist with the configuration and implementation of IT Security best practices, including relevant security systems, tools, and devices, and incident response.
- Other duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Diploma in Information Technology and/or Systems, Computer Science or a related field
- A minimum of four (4) years’ related experience, including demonstrated experience/expertise in the following areas:
- Setting up, managing, troubleshooting, and supporting within a Microsoft environment.
- Administering Microsoft Azure AD
- Installing and troubleshooting network hardware and software.
- Salesforce administration
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience configuring Ceridian Dayforce
- Experience or training in one or more of the following areas:
- AWS/Azure
- VOIP Systems
- SSO Implementations
- API Strategy
- Programming languages: SQL, JavaScript, HTML, APEX, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Verbal and written proficiency in French
