The Big Picture:
Have your career take off with us! We are currently looking for a motivated and diligent individual to join our team as Maintenance Parts and Materials Representative. The Maintenance Parts and Materials Representative coordinates the purchase of aircraft parts and materials as required by the maintenance department.
In this role you will:
- Manage procurement of parts and materials to support the maintenance department.
- Be responsible for warranty claims and core returns.
- Ensure all parts received conform to the regulations and are accompanied with the correct certification.
- Maintain the department’s Purchase Order system.
- Manage shipping and receiving. This includes potentially driving to and from delivery service locations like FedEx and Purolator.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least one year of related experience in administration or supply chain management/logistics.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license, with no suspensions and minimal infractions.
- The ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
- Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous aviation industry experience.
