Everwin Mobility Co. Ltd Chief Executive Officer Jobs – Jobs Description
We are currently seeking a highly regarded Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with start-up automotive company experience to provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the company and to closely coordinate and work with the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership team. He or she should also possess a deep understanding and technical knowledge of the vehicle development process from pre-vehicle program initiation through production launch for a global platform (North America and Asia) with emphasis in all electric medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicle classifications/ architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Modeling and setting the company?s culture, values, and strategies, and creating an environment that focuses on fulfilling the company?s mission, vision, and values.
- Responsible for operational management of all business departments of the company.
- Developing business prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion.
- Communicating effectively and establishing credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
- Ensuring the company is staffed with well-trained, quality, and engaged employees at all times; working closely with the executive management team to develop effective hiring, training, and compensation plans to retain our quality talent; and leading and mentoring staff, engaging and empowering them to be successful in serving customers.
- Overseeing financial performance and risk profile while ensuring that regulatory obligations are met; managing the design and implementation of new products and services; and overseeing brand development and the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
- Attending Global Executive leadership meetings to monitor timely execution of product programs.
- Representing the company at important business functions, community events, industry training and events, and networking opportunities.
- Traveling extensively, as necessary, to oversee operations and supply chain throughout North America and Asia
- Ensuring quality metrics are achieved through sound business processes following regulatory agency guidelines.
- Focusing on consensus building efforts and strategic planning.
- Ensuring the timely submission of month-end financial and operational reviews, and contributing to the development of and participation in corporate-wide strategic planning efforts.
- Monitoring company performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
- Increasing revenues and income before inter-company allocations, and implementing operating cost controls in the areas of staffing, supplies, purchased services, etc.
- Communicating circumstances and events of operations to officers, managers and other appropriate people to keep all apprised.
- Effectively managing contract negotiations and statutory compliance; acting as a strategic advisor and consultant offering expert advice on contracts, negotiations, or business deals the corporation may enter.
- Updating job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a strong asset.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of senior managerial and technical experience (as CEO, CTO, Chief Engineer or similar positions) in the electric vehicle (EV) industry.
- Experience and expertise in EV development process from pre-vehicle program initiation through production launch, for electric medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
- International management experience in the EV industry, preferably in North America and Asia, including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of the automotive industry.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital planning management.
- Outstanding strategic leadership ability.
- Excellent strategic planning, vision and forecasting.
- Strong ability for financial planning and strategy, and budget development.
- Demonstrable skills in promotion of process improvement, marketing and business development.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
- Exceptional project and people management skills.
- Strong English reading, written and verbal skills.
