Norwich Plastics Recycling Route Co-ordinator Jobs – Jobs Description
To coordinate and perform specific projects including, but not limited to: Sourcing, Purchasing, Collection, logistics, scheduling, & marketing.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conduct cold calls and meet with quantified approved leads to locate and pursue new supply.
- Follow up on old customers/leads to determine opportunity.
- Document and create processes, work instructions and to collect and reclaim end of life and discarded/off spec/offal/trim/surplus materials as prescribed by Management Team
- Ensure proper logistical method is used and communicate needs to plant locations.
- Communicate scheduling and production needs with plants.
- Oversee product stream from start to process
- Operate G class Van for transportation and logistics purposes.
- Carry out any and all collection, reclaim and marketing tasks through creative innovation of on-going resources.
- Source new material.
- Devise new and long-term business opportunities.
- Communicate and enforce all company policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Communicate with employees and supervisors ensuring all jobs/tasks are allocated and schedules are being met.
- Maintain documentation of all activities thoroughly.
- Maximize daily tasks through on-going analysis and improvement.
- Always work in a safe, responsible manner and ensure all employees do the same.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Confident in dealing with people from varying backgrounds and education levels.
- Ability to set up, operate, monitor and maintain customer and site relationships.
