Being apart of our dedicated crew will provide you with opportunities to work on massive projects, and the chance to get one-on-one training to enhance your skills as a mason. As an “old-fashion’ mason, I should add. In Muskoka, we chisel, cut and work with beautiful pieces of granite rock everyday. Learn all you need to know with us, no certificates required, and experience the job that keeps on giving. We’re for the most part family here, a team that works hard to provide the best quality work in Muskoka.
Currently we’re filling roles for every position and are looking to hire immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Install masonry materials, such as brick and stone, according to blueprints or design layout.
- Measure and cut materials to specified lengths.
- Lay materials in place to specified layout.
- Apply mortar and secure with trowel.
- Clean materials.
- Operate power tools and equipment (e.g. saws, mixers).
- Use scaffolding and other structures to build vertically, as well as to support mason work for large areas.
- Operate small tools (hammers, chisels).
- Read building plans or sketches to determine what is needed for the job.
- May prepare small quantities of mortar mix from basic materials (sand and cement).
- Report to Project Manager
- Submit weekly time-sheets
