Waterford Services Cleaner Jobs – Jobs Description
As a Food Court Attendant, you will be responsible for various light cleaning activities in the food court area, including sweeping, wiping, dusting, mopping, bathroom cleaning and emptying of waste containers. Your role will require knowledge and experience in cleaning best practices. All equipment and supplies required to complete assigned work are provided.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in cleaning best practices.
- Ability to work a pre-assigned schedule, follow a specific work routine, and arrive on time for work.
- Ability to work safely and comply with all Ontario Occupational Health & Safety guidelines.
- Impeccable attendance, detail oriented.
- Have access to personal and/or public transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk full length of building.
- Polite and courteous to colleagues and building occupants.
Compensation:
- $16.20/hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm / 37.5 hours per week

Primary Responsibilities:
- Attending to food court area of shopping mall
- Ensuring tables and chairs are kept clean and setup in orderly fashion.
- All food trays collected and washed.
- Cleanup of floor surfaces in food court area and ensuring spills are immediately attended to.
- Dusting and wiping horizontal and vertical surfaces to ensure free of dust, smudges, and debris.
- Diluting cleaning chemicals into containers for use during shift.
- Glass and mirror cleaning, to ensure free of dust, smudges, finger prints, and streaks.
- Bathroom cleaning, including sinks, toilets, urinals, counters, and floors.
- Empty waste containers, and reline – collect used bags for transportation to disposal room.
- Stainless steel cleaning ensuring free of smudges and finger prints.
